I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. I created this recipe with Driscoll’s Berries, that I purchased at Lucky Supermarket. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.
Summer is my favorite season of the year. I love spending time at the beach, going on vacation and hosting summer get-togethers. What I don’t like, is spending a lot of time in a hot kitchen cooking. I try to make as many grilled meals & no bake desserts as possible.
When I invite people over for a cookout, I’m always thinking about the presentation of my meal. Looks are everything when it comes to hosting summer festivities, and I want my food to look like I spent a long time preparing it… even if I didn’t! Such is the case with my Very Berry Delight, there’s no cooking involved, yet the finished product looks (and tastes) amazing!
First things first, when I’m going to make something, I want to use the freshest ingredients possible. That’s where Lucky Supermarket comes in. They carry Driscoll’s Berries, and that’s the brand I prefer using. Lucky Supermarket is packed full of fresh finds, I’m always surprised by all the goodies I find there. I found these Lychee fruit on my last trip, how cool is that?!
My Very Berry Delight dessert is quick to make and doesn’t require many ingredients. You can use pudding cups or whip up some instant pudding, whichever you prefer. I bought both, since I was undecided at the time. I went with the ready-made tapioca in the end. I chose Driscoll’s strawberries & blueberries this time; in the past I’ve made this dessert with raspberries & blackberries. You can view more of my Lucky’s Supermarket trip in my Google+ photo album. Before I get to the recipe, I want to tell y’all about a contest Driscoll’s Berries is currently hosting. It’s called The Berry Best Sweepstakes, it runs until July 30, 2013 & you could win a KitchenAid Blender & a year’s supply of berries! Sounds sweet to me! (pun intended!) Can’t win if you don’t enter, so go sign up & good luck! Now, on to my delicious recipe! I hope you’ll try it next time you play hostess.
