On my iPhone! A couple of weeks ago, I was in Los Angeles for one of my favorite blogging conferences, BlogHer16. While there, I visited the Best Buy Booth. The last time I visited their booth at BlogHer; I was blown away by the Samsung appliances they were showcasing. In fact, I was so impressed with Samsung’s products, that I ended up purchasing a new Samsung Washer & Dryer earlier this year!
So yeah, the Best Buy Booth is always a must for me while attending BlogHer. This year was no exception.
What Caught My Eye?
This time around, I was totally impressed by the #GalaxyNote7. I’ve had iPhones for years & I’ve loved them, but this Galaxy Note7 caught my eye and I haven’t been able to get it off my mind. First, it’s sleek & smooth. I picked it up, very lightweight. I don’t like heavy phones.
The S Pen! You can create until your heart’s content with it; use it to write, draw & edit. The S Pen can translate text, take scrolling screen shots, and even create GIFs! Watchu talkin’ ’bout Willis?! I currently do not make my own GIFs, but with the Galaxy Note7, I could. HOW? Select the video content you wish to capture, crop it & save it to create custom GIFs to share via email, text or social media.
It’s waterproof! One of my biggest complaints about my current phone- it’s not waterproof. The Galaxy Note7 can withstand being submerged in 5 feet of water for 30 minutes.
Wireless Charger! My current charger is about to bite the dust, the cord is all frazzled & I probably shouldn’t even be using it anymore. The Galaxy Note7 has a wireless charger, no more frayed cords.
The camera, y’all know I need a phone with a great camera. I take tons of photos of my family, the places I visit, my food! I need a camera that takes sharp, crisp pics-even in poor light.
For all you sci-fi geeks out there, how ’bout this: an iris scanner?! Yep, the Galaxy Note7 has one, adding extra security to the phone. Lock your phone & feel secure knowing only YOUR eyes will be able to unlock it.

I pretty much liked everything about the Galaxy Note7. Best Buy & Samsung didn’t steer me wrong as far as washers & dryers go … so yeah, I’m ready to cheat on my iPhone!
