Mother’s Day is upon us once again. I remember my first Mother’s Day, after giving birth to my oldest, like it was yesterday. In reality, it was 23 years ago!
I also remember the last Mother’s Day I spent with my Mom. It was after delivering my youngest. She was already showing signs of the disease (Alzheimer’s), that would eventually lead to her passing.
Like my own Mother, I cherish every handmade gift my children have ever given me. I look forward to receiving their little treasures and usually shed a tear or two when unwrapping the gifts they’ve made me.
