I love chocolate. I also love strawberries. It’s no surprise that Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are one of my favorite indulgences!
I used to spend a lot of money anytime I bought my favorite decadent treat, but not anymore. (Unless I’m at Disneyland, where the chocolate dipped strawberries are huge! I will gladly fork over my coins for one of those giant berries!)
I make my own delicious strawberry desserts now, and so can you, with this recipe. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb Strawberries
12 oz Chocolate Melting Chips
1/4 cup White Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS
Rinse and dry strawberries and place in freezer for 30 minutes.
Melt chocolate by microwaving for 45 seconds, stirring and repeating until smooth and melted.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Dip frozen srawberries in chocolate by the leafy stem and roll to coat.
Shake off excess and place on prepared sheet.
Place in refigerator for 15 minutes.
Put white chocolate chips in a zippered sandwich bag and microwave for 45 seconds to melt, then knead to insure they are fully melted.
Clip tiny bit of corner to pipe onto berries.
Drizzle across strawberries to decorate.
