I know there’s a lot of uncertainty right now. The Coronavirus has turned all our lives upside down. We’ve never experienced anything of this magnitude, and it’s scary. I don’t want to focus on the “bad” stuff. Instead, I’m choosing to post articles that offer hope, and highlight everything that is good about humanity and our world.
As of last week, it was reported that less than 20,000 tests for COVID-19 could be processed in the United States each day. Everlywell’s at-home test launch could double that capacity overnight. As the nation’s leading at-home lab testing company, with home delivery options and distribution at Target and CVS stores nationwide, Everlywell is uniquely positioned to lead the fight to develop and distribute at-home test kits for coronavirus.
Everlywell is launching an at-home test for coronavirus which will be available to the public in 1-2 weeks. (It will be priced at cost – likely for less than the price of a typical urgent care copay. Everlywell will not be profiting off this test).
Founded by Julia Cheek in 2015, Everlywell offers tests for fertility, STDs, metabolism, heart health, menopause, thyroid, testosterone, vitamin deficiencies and many more that anyone can take in the comfort of their own home. Everlywell was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies for wellness in 2019 and Julia was named one of the 100 women breaking glass ceilings and changing the world by Create & Cultivate this year.
Great job, Everlywell!
To everyone reading this, I hope you will stay inside your homes, and take every precaution available, to avoid getting sick or exposing others to this virus.
