About a month ago, I told you we were looking for a cheap wireless plan for our oldest. We decided to go with the Walmart Family Mobile plan, so we could (hopefully) save some money. I was tired of paying an arm & a leg for his phone plan, and tired of being stuck in a 2 year contract. There are NO CONTRACTS with Walmart’s Family Mobile plan. Woot-Woot!

I researched quite a few unlimited plans, & the Walmart Family Mobile plan offered the best wireless deal that I could find. Our son loves his new phone. The myTouch 4G cell phone he has now, is way better than the old beat up phone he was using. (That’s his old phone, below, looks pitiful.)

Getting him set up with his new phone was a breeze, we did it all online. We can activate the phone, pay the bill, manage his account, and more… all online!

Another thing I like about the Walmart Family Mobile plan, the Limits & Controls option! I can assign limits to the minutes & messages allowed on the account, and I can limit usage at certain times of the day (like dinner time). No more having dinner interrupted by my son’s teenage friends. I can also turn the data plan on & off and block access to certain “adult” websites, you know the ones I’m talking about! I don’t have to worry about him viewing things I’d rather not have him see, after all, he’ll always be my little boy- no matter what age he is.
I’m glad we made the switch to Walmart’s Family Mobile Plan. My son now has a phone that is reliable, works better than his old phone, has controls his other phone didn’t have, and best of all… it’s saving us money! How is that even possible? 
I’m actually embarrassed to tell you how much we were paying every month for his last phone, because I feel like a fool for paying it for so long. We were paying close to $100 for his old plan. Do you see that graphic above? I am now paying $39.88 for his unlimited talk, text & web plan through Walmart’s Family Mobile Plan.
We are so pleased with his phone & the plan, that we are going to be purchasing two more phones & plans… one for hubby & one for myself! If you’re in the market for a new phone, don’t want to deal with a 2 year contract, and want to SAVE money-you need Walmart’s Family Mobile Plan.
