Guess who’s back with another installment in the #TomaLeche (Drink Milk) Campaign?  Christmas is fast approaching and I’m still planning my Christmas menu. Y’all know I’m a milk freak, right? Well, today I’m bringing you a new recipe that incorporates not only milk, but another of my favorites:  Aguacate (Avocados!) It’s a match made in foodie heaven. I’m thinking this would be a delicious beverage to add to my menu. Here’s everything you’ll need to make this delicious smoothie.photo-470

It is so creamy, probably unlike any smoothie you’ve ever had. You can thank the avocado for that gorgeous texture. Let’s take a peek at my IG video- shall we?!

Ingredients
  1. 1 banana
  2. 1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
  3. 1 cup 2% milk
  4. 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. ground cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Place the banana- peeled and chopped up, in a bowl, place bowl in the freezer.
  2. Once frozen, place the banana, avocado, milk, sugar and vanilla extract in blender.
  3. Blend at high speed until creamy and smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
Notes
  1. You can adjust the sugar to your individual taste- I only used 1 tablespoon for mine. Also, if the smoothie is too thick for you, only use 1/2 the avocado-or increase the milk, either way will work.
