SF Bay Area, The Perfect Place to Live! #ChampionsOfHome

May 19, 2014

I remember the very first time I visited California, our oldest was about 4 years old and we took him to Disneyland. I was immediately hooked. One thing you must know about me, I am happiest when I’m at the beach… but then again, who isn’t?! SONY DSCSONY DSCThe beaches in CA are some of the best around. I’d often daydream about moving to CA, and what it would be like. I just loved everything about it, the people, the food, the climate, the beaches, the palm trees, everything! Well, almost everything, the traffic in SoCal is horrific!

Imagine my delight, when my dream became reality! An opportunity presented itself to move to CA, and we jumped on it. We wouldn’t be living in SoCal though… we moved to Northern CA- the SF Bay Area, to be precise. Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge never gets old! 148409_161771497196265_4612592_nSan Francisco is a fantastic place to visit, I love all the restaurants and diversity. Actually, diversity abounds in Northern Ca, and that’s one of the things I love most about the SF Bay Area. Being biracial myself, and raising multicultural children, it’s very important to me that they feel comfortable & welcomed in their community.SONY DSCSONY DSC I also love the proximity to so many other great places to visit.

One of those is Yosemite. There’s nothing like being out in nature, breathing the fresh air and appreciating all that this wonderful area has to offer. 200901_200466953326719_1651056_oI can still see the look on my little one’s face when he saw this deer at Yosemite, THAT’S why I love living here! 201348_200467153326699_6392810_o I love it here so much, that I don’t want to live anyplace else. I want to establish permanent roots right here, and that means buying a house! I know buying a home is a huge endeavor, but I don’t have to go it alone, CA Association of REALTORS®, is here to help.

I really like the Fremont, CA area- very diverse, great restaurants and kid-friendly. We spend a great deal of time attending festivals and various cultural events there. SONY DSCSONY DSC

There’s a huge difference between being a renter and a homeowner, but great REALTORS® can help make that transition virtually painless.

What starts with one California REALTOR® benefits all of California. That’s the underlying sentiment of the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) integrated consumer ad campaign called ‘Ripple’.

Now in its second year, the “Ripple” campaign connects the dots between REALTORS® and the California economy, illustrating how a Champion of Home™ can help consumers close on their dreams and, together, benefit the entire state. For example, one of the campaign spots tells the story of how a REALTOR® gave a family pricing and marketing strategies to help them sell their home.

  • While highlighting the intrinsic value of REALTORS® as Champions of Home™, the “Ripple” campaign goes beyond the story of the individual REALTOR® and focuses on the powerful positive economic impact that REALTORS®, buyers, and sellers are making throughout California. The facts (Source: National Association of REALTORS®):
  • One job is generated for every two home sales
  • One home purchase stimulates the economy by $60K
  • A homeowner’s net worth is 34 times that of a renter

I know I can depend on the CA Association of REALTORS® and their Ripple Program to help me out. If you’re interested in learning more, please follow their social media accounts below.
