January 7, 2015

I’m a Bouqs Ambassador, & received a bouquet to facilitate this review. Post contains affiliate links, all opinions are my own. 64382_874956235877784_421982331940088902_nAre you a flower person? Do you like having fresh-cut flowers in your home or office? I am, big time! I believe my love of flowers was inherited. Growing up, my grandparents (on both sides) had flower gardens…as did my Mom. My Grandfather’s roses were beautiful and he took such good care of them, they lined the sidewalk in front of his home. My Mom had roses in her garden, I remember she bought a purple rose bush one year & planted it right outside my window. She knew purple roses would be a hit with me.

Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon the Bouqs booth at the BlogHer Conference. I was drawn in by the amazing floral bouquets on display in the booth, colors so vibrant I thought the flowers were fake! jpg (1) After I touched them, to make sure they were real, I was told the Bouqs story. The flowers are grown in Ecuador, near a volcano! Gotta admit, you don’t hear that every day! Another thing you don’t hear every day is the price… just $40, with FREE shipping! You know my frugal ears perked right up when I heard that bit of money-saving info. Check out this video to learn more about The Bouqs Co.

After seeing the flowers for myself and hearing the price- I knew this company was for me. I’m one of those people that has ordered flowers online, only to be shocked when it’s time to pay because of all the ‘hidden’ fees! It’s crazy! I don’t have to worry about that with Bouqs, $40 out the door and I’m done.

I decided to order a bouquet and here’s what I received. 10430887_879275728779168_9165329754681261873_n My bouquet was a wee bit too large for one vase, so I had to use two! I ordered the “Desperado” Bouq. The flowers were large and hardy, no wimpy buds here. My roses were stunning. 1471271_879274202112654_3640894341542607265_n

The Bouqs Co. always runs specials, like their Bouq of the Month Club. You can save 10% this month with code JANBOUQ10. But wait, it gets better! You can also earn a FREE Bouq for every 2 friends you refer to Bouqs! FREE FLOWERS, people!

I’m really glad I ran into The Bouqs Co. at BlogHer, ordering flowers for special occasions (or just because) is so much easier (and more affordable) now.
