I’m a little late to the party, but I just had to share these photos with you.
“Day of the Dead (Spanish: Dia de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and acknowledged around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.”
The model in this photoshoot is my niece, Marissa. Marissa is my only niece & she is a very special young lady. She has overcome a lot in her life and will be graduating college this spring. I’m very proud of the woman she is becoming: strong, intelligent, thoughtful, caring & one heck of an advocate! (Just like her Tia!) Marissa has not been modeling for very long, and yet she’s a natural!
I’m so very proud of you, Issa!
Latinas in the house!
Love you bunches!
