Travel Agent?! If you didn’t already know it, I love to travel & explore new places. Whether it’s here in the U.S. or abroad, I just get the biggest kick out of seeing new lands & learning all about the local residents. I crave it.
I’ve been to a few places, nowhere near as many as some others…but I’m getting there! My first trip abroad was back in 2003-when I went to France. The flight over was long, but oh the reward was so worth it! I was hooked from that moment on & determined to see as much of this big, beautiful world as possible. Expect to see lots more travel posts in the future.
One thing I’ve noticed on my travels, is that there aren’t as many brown & black folks on the planes with me, as I’d like there to be. That really bothers me. I believe travel is for EVERYONE, not just a select few. I’m always proud to represent for the Latinas, but I want to see more of us going to exotic locales. I want to see more brown-skinned children, like my son on those planes, trains & cruise ships! We need more African Americans vacationing at all-inclusive resorts. Travel & vacations are for everyone! Where do YOU want to go?
