19 Slippery Slime Recipes To Make With Your Child

March 30, 2017

19 recipes to make slimeHas your child caught the “Slime” bug? Ours has & he’s been trying all kinds of crazy recipes & concoctions, trying to create the perfect batch of slime. It’s gotta be slippery, but not sticky… well, a little sticky is ok, but not too sticky!

We don’t have any Borax in the house, so that’s one ingredient he’ll just have to do without. He mostly just uses Elmer’s glue and different types of hand soaps & shampoos. Thing is, he doesn’t want to measure any of his ingredients! He just adds a little bit of this & a touch of that…then wonders why it doesn’t turn out exactly the way he wants! I watch him & just shake my head. He’s watched countless Youtube videos on slime, but most (all?) don’t include measurements of any sort- totally frustrating for a child.

In an effort to help my boy & all the other little scientists out there, I’ve come up with a list of slime recipes for you. Please do measure out your ingredients & adult supervision is recommended. You may want to mix all the ingredients outside, like we do- saves on the mess in the kitchen! Have fun & be safe!
