My love of football runs deep. I was born & raised in Texas. We take our football very seriously. My high school football team was one of the best in the state. Several of our players went on to play in the NFL. Some of my earliest memories are of being at my Abuela’s (Grandmother’s) house watching the Dallas Cowboys play, with all my Tias (Aunts) and Tios (Uncles) cheering them on to victory. Whether it’s high school, college, or pro, I love a good football game!
Bowl games hold a special place in my heart. Our oldest was born on a Saturday, the following day was Super Bowl Sunday. We watched the game from my hospital bed. One week later, hubby went to the Aloha Bowl. I stayed home with the baby & watched it on tv.
Our youngest was born during bowl season too! As a matter of fact, the first photo taken of our sons together gives you an idea of our love for the game. Take a look.
Yep, that’s our oldest in his Rose Bowl cap, holding his newborn baby brother in the hospital.
We go to as many football games as possible. Bowl games are a special treat, and we’ve been to a few.
We’re partial to Arizona teams, since we lived there for many years. (The photo below was taken at an ASU game; my little man couldn’t get enough of their mascot, Sparky.)
College football bowl season is almost here! Beginning December 16th through the early part of January, there are many great opportunities to Feed Your Fandom with Foster Farms while watching bowl
games. That includes the Foster Farms Bowl and the exciting matchup between the Arizona Wildcats & the Perdue Boilermakers. It’s PAC-12 vs. Big Ten!
The game will air on Fox Sports, December 27th & takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Every ticket sold to the Foster Farms Bowl generates a donation to local Bay Area food banks.
As you can imagine, we’re super excited about this matchup! This year, an Arizona team is coming to us!
