After the successful launch of their new concept stores in Daly City and Carmel; Lucky’s Supermarkets recently opened a new Lucky California grocery store in Dublin, California. “I’m excited to open our doors and offer our customers the all new shopping experience Lucky California brings,” stated Store Manager Ann Bradford. “With this new location, Dublin shoppers will have a one stop shop for all their meal solutions.”
Lucky California is inspired by the Bay Area’s unique food culture & aims to bring people together around that shared love of food. (We kinda are all about the food here!) Lucky California introduces customers to an entirely new grocery shopping experience that makes each trip an opportunity for discovery. From the fresh salad & hot soup stations, to the ready-to-eat meals & fresh juice bar; Lucky California is infused with unique flavors, organic & better-for-you items.
In addition to their expanded food services, Lucky California proudly brews Peet’s Coffee and Tea & houses a Golden Gate Market section that offers customers a wide variety of local products (like honey & olive oil), with a premium placed on farms and producers from regions throughout Northern California.
As soon as I found out about the new Lucky California store, I knew I had to see it for myself. My little guy wanted to experience it too, so he joined me, now he doesn’t want to grocery shop anyplace else! Can’t say I blame him. I think it was the Smoothie Bar that won him over! He enjoyed watching his smoothie being made. He also got to see oranges being used to make fresh squeezed orange juice, which customers were purchasing by the quart. He was in heaven sipping on his strawberry banana smoothie. 
The day we visited, there was a wine tasting going on & a pop-up Ramen stand giving out samples and selling ramen to go. We had ramen for dinner that night! Delicious!
My Thoughts
I was extremely impressed with this new store. It’s kinda like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s had a baby … and it’s more affordable than both!
Lucky California, in Dublin California, has everything I need and more! The produce section is huge, they have an incredible meat department, and the dairy & juice aisles had brands I’ve never seen at any other local grocery store. Can we talk about meal ideas? The deli and bakery are whippin’ up gourmet delights sure to please! Lucky California even carries my favorite brand of meat (Rumba Meats), so I can make my Mother’s delicious Mexican food recipes.
The store is huge, with approximately 47,000 square feet. I loved the wide aisles & open spaces.
The new Lucky California grocery store is located on 2840 Dublin Blvd, in the Fallon Gateway shopping center, off the 580.
