Xfinity X1 & Comcast Score Winning Goal In Summer Soccer Championship!

June 22, 2018

This is a sponsored conversation, in collaboration with Comcast & #WeAllGrow Latina Network.

Comcast xfinity X1

Last week I had the honor & privilege of attending an event hosted by Comcast & the We All Grow Latina Network. I’ve partnered with both entities before, so I knew I was in for a treat!

Several other Latina bloggers were in attendance, but overall it was a small & intimate gathering. We met up in San Francisco, at the Xfinity CNET Smart Home.

Comcast xfinity X1The subject was soccer and how Xfinity X1 is changing the game for viewers (see what I did there?!) We were invited to learn more about the new features available to Xfinity X1  customers. We got to mingle, eat some light bites, and relax, before getting down to business.

Comcast xfinity X1As we gathered in the living room of the CNET Smart Home, we were given a live demo of all the coolest & newest Xfinity X1 features including:

  • Screens, menus & voice commands available in both English & Spanish.
  • Integration of all live coverage from Telemundo & FOX with full-game replays, highlights, web video, real-time analytics & on-screen player and team stats.
  • For the first time ever, Xfinity TV customers can get notifications on their TV or mobile phone letting them know when their favorite teams are about to play! (OMG, I’ll never miss a game again!)
  • Sports app with real time scores and stats.
  • The ability to call up a range of sports-related information, stats schedules and more with the voice remote voice.
  • Integrated live, on demand and web content into one on demand destination.

Comcast xfinity X1I was extremely impressed with all the new features. I especially like the new “highlights” feature. We dvr a lot of games, and it’ll be cool to know exactly where all the highlights are, instead of fast-forwarding & rewinding through the entire game.

Comcast xfinity X1 The championship soccer games will be the summer’s single most watched sporting event. Comcast NBCUniversal will bring the excitement of the games to us, by delivering the most advanced & comprehensive, bi-cultural viewing experience right into our living rooms!

Learn More About X1 Here.

Did you know over 32 million Hispanics tuned into the 2014 soccer games and watched an average of 937 minutes?  That equals 80% of Hispanic households. What can I say, we love soccer! Comcast is the nation’s largest cable provider of Spanish-language programming and they offer more than 60 Spanish-language channels. Comcast xfinity X1But Comcast doesn’t stop there, just like us here at Mixed Blessings, they’re all about that multicultural life! From Bollywood movies & Chinese news, to Russian cinema & Brazilian telenovelas, X1 customers can now find and enjoy foreign language content such as Star India Plus, Zee TV, Willow, TV Asia, TV Globo, Record TV, TV5MONDE, and TV JAPAN. They truly offer something for everyone!

Let the games begin! Here’s a lil peek of our event…
