The kids are gearing up and getting ready to head back to school and I know that means: added expenses. There’s new school clothes to buy, school supplies, school lunches (I send them with their lunch 99% of the time, but it can still be costly.) I can’t forget about all the extracurricular activities that the new school year brings… sports, scouts, clubs… the list goes on and on.
All this money flying out the window has me thinking about what I can do to trim the budget. You guys already know how frugal I am, using coupons at the grocery store and frequenting thrift shops. But there’s gotta be more, something I’m missing… and I think I know what it is!

I know there are lots of unlimited plans out there, but I’m sure this one is going to save us the most money. There’s no contract, no credit check and no deposit. Best of all (for me, anyways!) no overage charges, Ever! (happy dance!)

I’m so excited to try this program. If everything turns out well, I’m going to switch the entire family over to the Walmart Family Mobile Plan. The money we save will help out with all the expenses we encounter throughout the school year, and we might even have enough for a vacation by the time the school year ends!
So far, I’ve purchased the phone & the $25 starter kit that I need to get started. I signed up online (which activated my Sim Card and got me a new phone number!) Easy-peasy, if I have any questions, customer support is available to me 24/7. My son is pretty hyped about having a new phone & I’m anxious to see how much money we’re gonna save.
