When most people need a greeting card, they simply go to the store & buy one, right? They don’t even give it a second thought. Things are a little more difficult when your family isn’t the “typical” looking familia! When I pick out a card, I want it to represent the person I’m buying it for. Whether it’s my African American MIL, my Mexican American Tia, or my multiracial son, I want a card that they can relate to.
Some stores have nothing that even remotely resembles my family. I refuse to buy a card that doesn’t honor my family…I’d rather make my own instead. The Sinceramente line appeals to my Latina side.
While the Mahogany line, is exactly what I need for hubby’s side of the family.
