A one week vehicle loan was provided to facilitate this review, no monetary compensation was received. All opinions are mine.

2015 Kia K900 – Prices start at $54,500 – MPG 15/23 – Seats 5

Who remembers this commercial? LeBron James in the 2015 Kia K900?!

I’m a huge NBA fan-basketball season can’t come quick enough for me. When I first saw this commercial, I was like, “Whoa, that’s a Kia? And LeBron’s driving it?”  I was impressed, and quite proud of the fact that I’m an actual Kia owner. The K900 looked amazing, and I hadn’t even seen it in person yet. First time I actually saw the K900 with my own two eyes was at a the SF Intl Auto Show, earlier in the year. Hubby sat in the driver’s seat & did not budge. He was instantly hooked.

Well, it finally happened… I got to spend a little one-on-one time with the Kia K900! Look at how gorgeous this car is!

We couldn’t just keep all this beauty to ourselves, we decided to share it with ALL (well, most) of California & take a road trip! SoCal wasn’t ready for us. We packed this baby up- the trunk goes on for days, and hit the asphalt! Gotta love a trunk that closes itself.

With a spacious interior and an abundance of amenities, the Kia K900 opens the door to luxurious comfort – you just wait til you see all this goodness…here’s a taste:

– A credit card smart key that is thinner than a conventional key fob, initiating the perimeter approach LED lighting.
-16 way power adjustable driver seat and automatic power adjustable mirrors.
– Available premium grade, full grain Napa leather and wood trimmed interior design.
– Sculpted ergonomic seats with heated and ventilated front seats to keep you comfortable.
– Available 17 speaker Lexicon Discrete Logic surround sound system, the most advanced audio system ever featured in a Kia.
– 3 zone automatic climate control system with ionized air filtration cleaning the air by up to 10 percent.
– Advanced Smart Cruise control, lane departure warning system, blind spot detection with rear cross traffic alert.
– Full length panoramic sunroof.

And this, the Head-Up Display!

With the customizable Head-Up Display (HUD), the key driving information you need is discretely projected onto the windshield in the driver’s line of sight. And the full color HUD automatically adjusts its brightness depending on conditions.

Look!

You’ve got to watch this video to fully appreciate everything this car entails.

I’ll be the first to admit-when you think luxury car, Kia usually isn’t the first car that comes to mind. But like Kia says, “challenge the luxury you know.” This car is luxurious, and we had so many people come up to us asking to see the inside of the Kia K900. “That’s the car LeBron drives, right?!” My answer? “Yep, but I’m driving it today!”  The Kia K900 rides just as smooth as you’d expect a luxury car to ride. Smooth & quiet on the highway.

If you get a chance to test-drive one of these beauties, please do. But be prepared for some major withdrawal symptoms when you have to hand that key back to the salesperson. And if you’re worried about legroom, or if it’s big enough…c’mon! If it’s big enough for LeBron, it’s big enough for you & me! Our son had a blast in that back seat- more room than he’s ever had in a sedan.

What Hubby Liked: Umm, pretty much everything! He did wish the gas mileage was a wee bit better, but other than that- he was in heaven!

What I Liked: It is an extremely luxurious car, all the bells & whistles were impressive. The rear view & front view cameras won me over-you know I’m all about safety. The Napa leather seats, like butta! Did I mention the seat warmer AND cooler?! Yes- I used that seat cooler quite a bit. I’m not really a sedan person though-I prefer crossovers. My passenger seat did not have an adjustable lumbar support-but the driver and backseat did, kinda odd. I felt like this was too much car for me personally, too big. But I wouldn’t turn the Kia K900 down if someone gave it to me!

What Our Little Liked: Better yet, let me show you- he had his very own control panel in the back with him. He could control the AC, move his seats, adjust his lumbar support, turn on the seat warmers/coolers, and control the sunscreen on the rear window. He absolutely LOVED it! Add the fact that he could’ve fit his entire soccer team in that backseat, yeah, he LOVED it!
