I was recently sent a Revolar for review, and the need could not be greater… one look at recent headlines confirms it; rape culture permeates our society.

What is Revolar?

Revolar is a very thin device that measures less than 2 inches; it easily hides under clothing or on your keychain. It’s waterproof & runs on a watch battery-which lasts up to one year.

Revolar is the next innovation in wearables. Unlike wearables that track your steps or sleep, Revolar’s ONLY job is to help empower you to feel safer and connected. If you feel uncomfortable, if your Spidey Senses are tingling or you are in danger, a rapid double-press sends a yellow alert, indicating that you’re uncomfortable or need to get in touch with your contacts. A rapid triple-press sends a red alert to your contacts, and your GPS location, indicating that you need professional help. Did you read that part in italics? YOUR GPS LOCATION!

In this day & age of “victim blaming” and rapists being sentenced to a mere 6 months for the crime of rape – Revolar should be in the hands of every woman, in every state. Heck, scratch that, everyone needs one of these, I don’t care if you’re a man or woman- we all need the added security Revolar provides. Revolar is available globally & retails for $99.

Revolar can be used for other things besides personal protection. If you need help because of an allergic reaction, uncomfortable date, a fall, etc., just press your Revolar button, and an alert with your active GPS location will be sent to your contacts. From there, they’ll be instructed to call you and/or get you additional help.

Founder and CEO Jacqueline Ros created Revolar out of love for her little sister who was assaulted as a teen. Jacqueline found herself wishing her sister had been able to simply press a button to call for help, so that’s exactly what she built. Jacqueline and her team are a dedicated group of allies and survivors, each committed to building safety technology to empower people to keep themselves and those they love safe.

I’m so proud of Jacqueline Ros, and I thank her for inventing the Revolar. Not only is she CEO of her own company (go head Boss Lady!), but she has created a product that has the potential to save lives. Order your Revolar today.
