Today we learned that Chef Anthony Bourdain has passed away. Like so many others, I was a fan. I’ve watched every episode of No Reservations, The Layover, and Parts Unknown. He introduced me to places I’ve never been, cultures I knew nothing about, and food I didn’t even know I wanted to try!
When I went to NYC, I knew I wanted to eat hotdogs at Papaya King, because I saw Anthony eat there on an episode of The Layover.

One of my favorite episodes of “Parts Unknown” was when Anthony Bourdain and President Barack Obama had dinner together at Bún chả Hương Liên in Hanoi, Vietnam.
